Independent verification found the trend absent by name from three other major 2026 POD/Etsy trend guides — eRank's, Printify's, and the Print On Demand Playbook's — even though eRank's own guide documents the same underlying comfort-seeking shopper psychology under different framing, and Insight Agent's trending-aesthetics tracker surfaces a thematically adjacent but differently branded "Solarpunk Optimism" micro-trend instead. The gap suggests optimism-coded design — soft affirmations, sunburst and butterfly motifs, warm nostalgic color work — is a live Etsy search behavior that most seller-facing trend tools haven't yet named or packaged into sellable product ideas.
