1. Overview

UVRN is operated by Suttle Media. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect when you visit uvrn.org or use the UVRN public API, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information. We are committed to collecting only the minimum data needed to operate the service and will never sell your information to third parties.

2. Analytics — Google Analytics 4

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use uvrn.org. GA4 collects usage data automatically when you visit the site. This includes:

• Pages visited and navigation paths
• Session duration and engagement metrics
• General device and browser information (e.g., browser type, operating system, screen size)
• Approximate geographic location (country/region level, derived from IP address)
• Referral source (how you arrived at the site)

We have enabled IP anonymization for all GA4 data. Your full IP address is never stored or transmitted to Google. GA4 data is processed by Google and subject to Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

3. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or process any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Account credentials or passwords
• Payment or financial information
• The content of any data or claims you submit through the UVRN API
• Precise location data

UVRN API receipts store only cryptographic hashes — never raw content. We cannot reconstruct submitted data from the consensus ledger.

4. Cookies

We do not set any first-party cookies. Google Analytics 4 may set cookies on your device as part of its measurement functionality. You can opt out of GA4 tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser settings.

5. API Usage Data

When you use the UVRN public API, standard server logs may record your IP address, request timestamps, HTTP method, endpoint path, and response status codes. This data is used solely for security monitoring, rate limit enforcement, and abuse prevention. It is not linked to your identity and is not shared with third parties.

6. Data Retention

GA4 analytics data is retained for 14 months as configured in Google Analytics. Server log data is retained for a short period for operational purposes and then deleted. Consensus ledger entries (receipt hashes) are stored indefinitely as part of the immutable protocol record.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party infrastructure to operate UVRN:

• Google Analytics 4 — usage analytics
• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection
• Render — web service hosting (API + static site)

Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy. We do not control how they process data within their own systems.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of uvrn.org or the UVRN API after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
